Student nomination for Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI)2022


Do you know a college student who wants to change the world?

CGI are looking for motivated and passionate students to join our CGI U Class of 2022. Accepted students will be invited to join President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton for our virtual annual meeting in the spring of 2022!

If you know an undergraduate or graduate student who wants to make an impact in:
1. Education,
2. Environment and climate change
3. Peace and human rights
4. Poverty alleviation
5. Public health

You can nominate them for CGI U or our extension programs through our partners at Verizon, IBM, and Up to Us. Once you complete the form, our team will contact the student regarding the application process.

Application Deadline

The deadline for students to apply to CGI U 2022 is January 21, 2022. The sooner you nominate a student, the sooner they can learn about this exciting opportunity!

Learn how to craft and submit a competitive application for CGI U 2022.
In this session, students will go over each section of the CGI U 2022 application and talk through how to best approach each question.

There will also be an opportunity to exchange CGI U Commitment to Action ideas. Introduction to Principles of Social Innovation with Verizon

This session will provide students with an overview of the evolution of connectivity, the power of 5G and the opportunities leading-edge technology can unleash for the future. Students will have a chance to learn and ask questions about different types of leading-edge technology, including artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, and the Internet of Things.

This session will help students think through how to develop social impact projects that leverage leading-edge technology in innovative ways.
Submitting a Compelling Verizon Forward for Good Challenge Application: Thursday, November 4 at 1:00pm ET | Register Here

Learn how to craft and submit a competitive application for the Verizon Forward for Good Challenge in partnership with CGI U. In this session, we will go over each section of the application, talk through how to best approach each question, and review the rubric for the application. There will also be an opportunity to discuss the different stages of project development and exchange potential project ideas.
